Come in.
This blog was created as a way to document the tremendous power service dogs have in aiding those with PTSD, specifically, victims of sexual assault.
This is a focus group of 1.
Meet my service dog, Millie
Amelia Sacred Talisman. (Call name: Millie)
This is the name typed on a photo of baby millie in the Ukraine. Millie was shipped from the Ukraine around 4 or 5 months of age. She arrived in San Diego and was made available to adopt around 1 year old, which is when I met her.
She is all things good in life. My protector, my healer, my sacred talisman.
Life with C-PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety
I am a survivor of long-term childhood sexual assault. It’s not fun to say, but it’s the truth. I process the world through the lens of complex trauma which can be overwhelming and infuriating all at the same time.
This is a story of my healing.

Vogue. Runways. Magazines. Sketching. The art of fashion has a way of making me feel something.
I created Tucker Trading Co. as a place for me to play with not only my personal style, but explore trends, get giddy about the perfect pair of shoes, and share my favorite products.
